Code of conduct

Within the scope of its industrial activity, and with the involvement of a team comprising a significant number of people from the local community, RTE, SA publicly communicates its commitment to prioritizing the ethical and social principles outlined in this Code of Conduct.

⬤    Compliance with all local provisions in force:

⬤    Compliance with all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, upholding the highest ethical standards in its operations;

⬤    Rejection of any form of Child Labor that may be directly or indirectly related to the activity developed;

⬤    Rejection of all forms of Prison Labor;

⬤    Rejection of all forms of forced labor;

⬤    Guarantee of equal opportunities for all employees, with no discrimination based on age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, chronic illness, race, language, religion, political or ideological beliefs, or union membership.

⬤    Overtime pay, in accordance with the calculation rules outlined in the Collective Labour Agreement of the metallurgical and metalworking sector;

⬤    Compliance with weekly work limits;

⬤    Dignified social facilities appropriate for the number of workers;

⬤    Design of the production facilities with a focus on achieving good comfort levels in terms of ergonomics, lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise;

⬤    Hygiene and safety conditions at work, promoting the necessary training in this area to ensure compliance with the legislation in force;

⬤    Creation of the occupational health service with workers' health surveillance and care in cases of work-related illness;

⬤    Compliance with the company's obligations to Social Security;

⬤    Elimination of all types of discrimination in the access, compensation, and promotion based on gender, religion, or political beliefs;

⬤    Compliance with the requirements of the applicable environmental legislation;

⬤    Promotion of dialogue among the company's employees following the rules of greater courtesy;

⬤    Provide each employee access to their own personal information duly processed and systematized;

⬤    Not allow situations that jeopardize the personal dignity of each of the employees;

⬤    Use of equipment that complies with EU safety standards in its design and maintenance;

⬤    Special attention given to the onboarding of employees recently admitted to the work team;
